Announcing the Lackawaxen River Sojourn, a 2-day paddle on the river from Honesdale to Lackawaxen. October 12th & 13th, 2024!
Day 1
- Registration and Launch @ the newly constructed Sycamore Point in Honesdale.
- Paddle to White Mills River Access Park (also new!)
- Lunch and Presentation
- Paddle past Lock 31 at D&H Canal Park
- End at The Settlers Inn
- Overnight lodging and camping
- Evening Presentation
Day 2
- Break camp and travel to Zane Grey
- Breakfast @ Zane Gray
- Registration @ Zane Grey (confluence of Lackawaxen and Delaware)
- Presentation
- Load buses to launch for raft on lower Lackawaxen River with water release coordinated with Brookfield Renewable Energy
- Takeout at Zane Grey Access on the Delaware
- Box Lunch
- Program End
